My Personal Motor Journey ... 2 wheels really move the soul!
We do more as Motorcycle Safety Instructors than just teach people to ride.
We help instill confidence in oneself, to step out of your comfort zone and try something new.
We help remind people that there are consequences for their actions like when you are required to be on time and you are late you don’t get to continue to play the game.
We help people find out that there are better ways to learn something than they experienced in regular school, and seeking additional classes is a good thing.
We help people realize it is okay to say “I am not ready” and walk away to return to another day and try again. If they really want it, they don’t give up, they just start over until they get it right.
We encourage people to strive to help improve others through what they learned in class.
We show people that no matter how long you have been doing something “like riding a motorcycle”, there are usually better ways to do it that you are not aware of until you seek the information through additional training.
We are move than just Motorcycle Instructors … We strive to be “Role Models” and thoroughly enjoy “Sharing the Dream”

Law Tigers are a group of skilled personal injury attorneys who ride and promote safety in the motorcycle community. I am seeking to have the opportunity to ride, sharing mutual passion and goals for safer motorcycling community. I would like to be considered for the Law Tigers 2018 Female influencer. It parallels my 2018 plan to share my experience, promote safety by coaching riding academies, motorcycle safety programs, competing on an expert level of precision riding throughout the States as well as touring.
I’ve had a strong passion for riding as far back as I can remember -I’ve always been affectionately known as a Harley girl, Although, I’ve also had my share of off-roading too.
I am astutely aware that exceptional riding skills are necessary to enjoy my obsession with riding. As a result, I continually practice and last year started to compete against Police and civilians in local and national events.
My first motor is a ‘07 Dyna Lowrider. First cut is the deepest, that bike has a special spot in my heart. Although now used only for local riding & RC duty, we have over 85,000 amazing miles together.
I have over 100k miles. I have ridden thru 45 states on iconic, bucket list rides including too many to list in only 2 minutes! I had to fast forward quite a bit here – hopefully, it doesn’t make you dizzy.
The Tail of the Dragon, Cherahola Skyway, Devils Triangle, Blue Ridge Parkway, Chief Joseph Highway, Bear Tooth Pass, Needles Highway, Estes Park, Yellowstone Park, Mt. Mulholland, Pacific Coast Highway, Road to Hana, Hocking Hills, Tahquamenon Falls.
Several years ago I had the desire to be the best rider I could be, I started working with a group of riders practicing torque, turns and braking skills. It was a small group since not everyone will take the chance of dropping their motor during the learning curve. Needless to say, I am an expert at picking up a downed motorcycle. Our saying is if you’re not falling you’re not learning or your not trying hard enough to push your limits.
As we mastered patterns we’d find more challenging ones with the intention to continually improve and become more proficient in tighter and difficult situations you might encounter on the road. A few years back some of the members decided to run a skills challenge event where riders of all levels could compete. It was very successful and now has turned into an annual event gaining numerous riders – all with much better skills now for the roadway.
Once I started competing on a broader level, it was apparent that i had to seriously take my game up a few notches. Last year, all of my training paid off not only for starting a collection of hardware but it allowed me to qualify for courses at Midwest and Lock and Lean Police Motorcycle Training. These courses are taught by some the finest Police Motor Officers in the country, arguably the best riders in the world.
Recently, I was accepted into the MSF Coaching Program. In addition, I was invited and welcomed as part of the HD Riders Academy Coaching Team. After completing the classes this spring, I will be able to begin coaching and sharing my passion to ride, while giving me the freedom from the norm to get more miles on the bikes.
I have a unique drive to continually (learn) train. My passion is to lock and lean. Not only to be the best rider possible but to also share that passion with others.
Proving and demonstrating skills in a male-dominated playground is not just fulfilling, it’s AMAZING. Not to mention the crowds’ reaction to seeing a 5’4 125 lb female leaning an 850lb motor thru a precision course full of cones is a definite high. Hell, I even amaze myself at times. Especially when the course wins an exercise, the bike drops and I have to lift ‘er up!
My riding experience has taught me firsthand how life-changing expert skills can be. There are many dangers on the road, anyone that mounts a motor should take additional training to hone life-saving braking as well as slow & high-speed evasive maneuvers. Shit happens, accidents occur. That’s when we can count on Law Tigers. I am pumped up and excited looking at my schedule and hopeful to be selected to ride & share my enthusiasm and wins socially with posts & videos of my 2018 journey with all.
When it comes to riding, it is comforting to know The Law Tigers are out there watching over so we can rest assured there are no limits to the miles & memories ready to be created.
As my mentors say “Ride Safe and Far!”
Law Tigers (updated 1/26/18)
